These premium quality brine shrimp eggs are harvested directly from Utah's Great Salt Lake. Ideal for finfish, crustacean, and tropical fish culture. You can expect a 90+ percent hatch-out within just 18 to 24 hours. Approximately 280,000 cysts/gram. They are vacuum packed into 425 gram cans. Each lot is tested for hatch-out, and contamination of harmful pesticides or heavy metals.

Consisting primarily of baby brine shrimp, this flake formula has a protein content of 43%. Flakes are fortified with vitamins and minerals. Fat content at least 3% and low fiber content of 3%.

BRINE SHRIMP HATCHER:

This commercial hatchery is capable of producing 300cc+ (20 tablespoons) of cysts in 5 gallons of water. Simply turn off the air after hatching and allow empty eggs to float and the hatched nauplii will travel to the bottom where they can be removed by simply opening the valve. The pyramid shape (12″ square by 24″ tall) promotes hatching. Includes weighted rigid air tube, diffuser, and drain valve. The optional aluminum stand makes bench top mounting easy.

This small brine shrimp hatcher will hatch up to two tablespoons (35 cc) of brine shrimp eggs, can be used for rotifer culture, or even a McDonald type hatchery for a small amount of fish eggs. Each 2.6 liter molded acrylic cone hatcher comes with a molded-in plastic drain valve, 6′ of airline, rigid air delivery tube, splash cap, air valve, collection cup and support stand.

SPIRULINA:

Spirulina are filamentous, blue-green algae, occurring naturally in many lakes and ponds all over the world. Spirulina's high protein content and complete profile of makes it an excellent feed or feed additive. Spirulina also contains many of the pigments required for proper health and coloration. A.P.R. is a microencapsulated feed that can be used as a replacement feed for rotifers, making great food for feeding larval shrimp and fish. Krill meal is composed of 100% Euphasia superba that has been freeze-dried and ground into powder. It is highly nutritious, protein rich, and very high in the pigment carotenoid astaxanthin. It is a powdered form with 80 percent of the particle size less than 500 micron.

KRILL - FREEZE DRIED:

Freeze dried Euphasia pacifica or the larger Euphasia superba. It is processed in such a way as to preserve 100% of the nutritional value. All the essential proteins and fatty-acids are present. Great care is taken to lock in carotenoids, which greatly enhances the coloration of fish. Krill can be fed directly, either whole or ground, to fish or shrimp. It can also be added to your feed formulations for enhanced feeding. It is available in whole or flakes. Availability may be seasonal.
