MICROBUBBLE PLATE DIFFUSER:

For use in single pass and recirculating systems to increase production or reduce costs. For emergency back-up or periods of low water flow, power outages or when fish are subject to stress. For fish transport by truck, barge, boat, plane or helicopter. Can be used for anesthetizing with CO2. Bubbling pressure: 25-35 psi. Absorption efficiency: 40-50% depending on depth and flow rate. Bubble Size: 100-500microns. Made of ceramic plate set in a rigid blue enamel coated aluminum frame.

WEDGE-LOCK™ DIFFUSERS:

WEDGE-LOCK™ is a modular system of diffusers and end sets that fit together to form a bank of up to eight units. Oxygenation capacity can be increased (or decreased) as your needs demand by simply changing the number of diffusers used for greater flexibility and minimal downtime. Designed for total ease of use, WEDGE-LOCK™ modules 'Twist and Lock' together to form an air-tight seal without the use of tools. Hose with push-in fittings connects the diffuser banks to the gas supply, significantly reducing set-up time and effort. Manufactured from tough plastic, WEDGE-LOCK™ will not corrode and is resistant to the Sun's ultraviolet rays. The diffuser's streamlined wedge shape improves stability in tanks with high water flow and offers less resistance in self-cleaning tank systems. SWEETWATER AIR DIFFUSERS:

Sweetwater diffusers are high quality ceramic type air diffusers that are machined form a solid block of glass bonded silica. With their round grain pore structure, low resistance and uniform porosity, Sweetwater diffusers are excellent for aquaculture, wastewater and lake aeration applications. Sweetwater diffusers are engineered to produce the smallest bubble possible within the constraints of a reasonable service life. In most soft water applications, you won't need to clean them for more than a year.

SWEETWATER FINE PORE AIR DIFFUSERS:

Sweetwater brand fine-pore diffusers are the same high-quality diffusers as the regular Sweetwater diffusers. The only differences in the smaller pore size which produce finer bubbles. Sweetwater fine-pore diffusers do require higher pressure (about 5″ H2O more) and more frequent cleaning so they are not recommended for regular aeration. The bubble uniformity is excellent.

How to Clean SWEETWATER Diffusers:

The only maintenance normally required is periodic cleaning.
(1) Remove from service and blow off excess water, clean off any foreign material.
(2) Immerse completely in undiluted muriatic acid for a sufficient time to dissolve the clogging material. This may take from one minute to eight hours in extreme cases. Please take all necessary precautions when working with acid.
(3) After clogging material has been dissolved, rinse thoroughly before reuse.
(4) Discard the used acid by first reducing its strength to a neutral pH, diluting with at least 10 times as much water as acid.

These inexpensive airstones are perfect for hobbyists and aquariums. Blue in color. 3/16″ barb inlets

DIFFUSER BUMPERS:

To protect your diffusers from abrasives like concrete or to protect your tank from your diffusers, order two diffuser bumpers per airstone. Easily stretch over 1.5″ airstones.

AIR CURTAINS:

These flexible, aquarium air diffusers produce a small curtain of air bubbles. They are rubber porous tubing with a flexible lead insert and 3/16″ barbed inlet. They can be bent in a circle, straight line or almost any shape. Self-weighted, 0.1 cfm/ft.

BIO-WEAVE DIFFUSER TUBING:

Self-weighted Bio-Weave diffuser hose is a popular method of introducing air and oxygen into hauling tanks and culture tanks where durability is important. It is made of a strong, long-life woven material designed to last for years. Operating range is 0.2-0.6 CFM per foot. The diffuser surface is a soft polyester fiber for easy bending. Because no hold-down device is required, placement and removal is simple. These medium bubble diffusers come with hose fittings (including a cap for the male end) and a 1/4″ male barb adapter for the female end. Bio-Weave has about a 20-inch H₂O resistance to air flow, so it is marginally compatible with regenerative blowers.

RUBBER/POLYDIFFUSER HOSE:

The rugged rubber/polyethylene diffuser hose can take punishment. It springs back even when walked on. The pressure loss is approximately 4 psi (110′ H₂O) allowing a diffuser length of more than 25 feet per inlet. It can be used with both air and pure oxygen (not compatible with regenerative blowers. Hold downs or weights are required to counteract buoyancy. The gas flow rates (seen below) are only an average. Much higher and lower flows are possible. It's made with a special process to produce an extremely fine bubble, making it a low cost choice for diffusing pure oxygen. The 1/2″ OD10 is also a fine-pore diffuser but produces somewhat larger and less uniform bubbles than the 1/4″ OD4. Both are black in color. Hose ends may be heat sealed. 100 Feet per Roll.

OXYGEN FLOW METERS:

3.5, 8 or 15 LPM. Pressure compensated at 50 PSIG, Maximum pressure of 100 PSIG. High impact lexan hood and flow tube with machined brass base. Stainless steel stem valve. O-ring sealed. Two brands available.

FLOW METER MANIFOLDS:

Manifolds are constructed from stainless steel and the Key Instruments oxygen flow meters. They are easily mounted to hauling tanks or trucks and can be connected to form larger configurations. Manifolds are fully assembled, leak tested and include inlet/outlet barb fittings. Available with 0-3.5, 0-8 or 0-15 LPM flow meters.
